Individual sessions

Individual sessions involve talking and reflecting on one's own eating patterns and the role food plays in your life. We review your relationship with food and identify any cycles you are "stuck" in, and explore emotions linked to these patterns. Together we work on getting in touch with the body's natural feeling of hunger, trusting the body's ability to self-regulate, fear around food, letting go of control and lowering "food stress". The sessions focus on emotions and thoughts linked to food and creating awareness through tasks, conversations and adapting new tools. I do not make meal/diet plans, and I do not give dietary advice on what to eat. In contrast, I focus on how you can heal your disordered eating patterns so that you can be healthy, and have a peaceful relationship with food that is free of difficult thoughts and feelings.
